Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will bring back the series staple Zombies mode when it launches this fall. Activision Blizzard developer Treyarch announced that Black Ops 6 will feature turn-based zombie action. Now Treyarch is offering a few eerie teasers of the chaos to come.
Zombies mode is coming back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
The official Call of Duty account posted a short video directing players to TheTruthDies.com. The video is just a brief shot of zombies. But here’s where things get interesting.
The website features a TV screen with six different channels, but only two are currently active. Each channel seems innocent at first, but as the music changes to a frightening tone, images of a grotesque rabbit plush and menacing laughter appear. The program menu also shows prisoners in cells, who do not appear to be infected, at least not yet.
Online theories suggest that the prison environment will be one of the two zombie maps that will be used with the release of Black Ops 6. But without Treyarch providing more details, we can only speculate how or if this location will be used.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on October 25th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. Players can expect a new and exciting experience with the return of the classic zombie mode. Treyarch’s teasers are just a taste of the gruesome moments players can expect in zombie mode.
